Feed Sisters 2026

Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Together, we can fill the shelvesHunger exists in Sisters every day—but so does generosity. It may be a family trying to stretch one paycheck a little further. A senior choosing between groceries and another essential expense. Or a neighbor quietly facing a difficult season. These are members of our community, and each of us can help.

Throughout October 2026, Feed Sisters is bringing our community together to stock the shelves of the Sisters Kiwanis Food Bank with the foods local families need most. Fill a grocery bag. Donate a few dollars. Give what you can. Every jar, can, box, and dollar helps provide food—and a little breathing room—for a neighbor in Sisters.
Your gift can go twice as far. The first $500 in monetary donations to Feed Sisters will be matched dollar for dollar by Makin’ it Local. Give what you can, and help the Sisters Kiwanis Food Bank purchase the foods it needs most.
Together, we can fight hunger—neighbor to neighbor.

Why Feed Sisters Matters

The Sisters Kiwanis Food Bank has served local families for more than 40 years. Powered entirely by volunteers, it provides healthy food in a welcoming, low-barrier environment to neighbors experiencing food insecurity. The need has grown significantly. Between 2021 and 2024, the number of people receiving assistance more than doubled. In a recent year, the Food Bank:Welcomed approximately 3,100 family visits
Distributed nearly 100,000 pounds of food
Helped approximately 5,500 housed adults and 1,800 housed children
Helped approximately 911 adults and 161 children experiencing homelessness
Behind every number is a neighbor, a family, and a story we may never know. The Sisters Kiwanis Food Bank believes everyone in our community should have access to nutritious food. Feed Sisters gives us all a simple way to help make that possible.
When Sisters comes together, no neighbor has to face hunger alone..
